Simone Jacob was born in 1962 in Memmingen, Allgäu. She studied in Munich and has a Masters degree in Science of Communication, Psychology and Sociology.
Simone Jacob has been working with marble, sandstone and limestone since 1995. On her travels around the world she has had the opportunity to study tribal-art.
Her sculptures explore these themes.
For 15 years, Simone Jacob lived on a farm in Bavaria with her own herd of horses. In her paintings she expresses the elegance and power of these animals. This series of equestrian paintings is titled HORSES. Jacob paints on large canvases in oil and acrylic.
The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in Amarillo, Texas selected her for the 2017 exhibition. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious Western art exhibitions in the world.
